About EPC2Let

From 1st October 2008 all private rented homes require an Energy Performance Certificate when they are next marketed to let.

EPC2Let was launched in April 2008 by two successful Energy Assessors, one a landlord himself, who believe there is a genuine need for a service targeted directly at Landlords and Letting Agents.

Their aim is to create a register of independent Energy Assessors providing a service directly to landlords, in order that Landlords and Letting Agents can deal direct with a local Assessor with confidence.

This direct access ensures that landlords can structure an approach to their EPC requirements without paying agents or middlemen which means the best value for money is obtained for the service.

This also means that local Energy Assessors can trade profitably in the local business community and provide a worthwhile, value for money service. And all with a low carbon footprint!
